Usually these are the most frequent questions that every person asks himself when deciding on where and how to celebrate the arrival of the new year. Unfortunately on the first question we can not do much but we can help you solve the last two.
Here are some proposals, suitable for all tastes, that will finally answer the question of where to celebrate and what to do for the New Year 2018 in Mugello.
BARBERINO DI MUGELLO
This year to toast to 2018 the Comitato ViviBarberino and the Pro Loco of Barberino di Mugello have organized a free party in Piazza Cavour and at the Teatro Corsini.
In Piazza Cavour will be present “Orchestra all’italiana, the bingo and of course a countdown will be done to toast the new year. There will also be a Deejay that will animate the evening until closing.
At the Teatro Corsini instead there will be “The Best Of” with Katia Beni and Anna Meacci.
BORGO SAN LORENZO
Borgo San Lorenzo this year to celebrate 2018 has organized, thanks to the Operazione Nostalgia Association, a wonderful dinner at the Foro Boario of Borgo San Lorenzo.
The dinner will start at 20:30 and will have the following menu:
- Adults € 30
Tuscan appetizer
Tortelli with meat sauce
Pizza
water
Wine - Children up to 10 years € 15
Tuscan appetizer
First or pizza
Chips
Beverage
In addition there will also be a children’s area. From 11.00 pm the evening will be animated by Giacomo V. & Jo Diluvio.
FIRENZUOLA
Firenzuola celebrates the New Year in Square, with the “Circo Nero La Brigada De Fuego”. Starting from 11.00 pm until 3.30 am, this circus will be out of the ordinary. Everything will be accompanied by the Dj Set. The party is free admission.
MARRADI
The New Year’s Eve party 2018 in Marradi is celebrated at the Teatro degli Animosi from 11:45 pm. DJ Rizzo and DJ Riccio will be present at the console.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent. If the accompanying person is not a parent, a signed proxy is required and a photocopy of the ID of one of the two parents is required.
SCARPERIA E SAN PIERO
“New Year’s Eve at Ikebana” will also be back at Via Nilde Iotti, 2, Scarperia and San Piero to celebrate the arrival of 2018. Admission is forbidden to minors under the age of 20.
It is possible to choose between dinner and party or only the latter starting from 00:30. There is also a shuttle service to/ from Mugello.
The dinner will start at 20:30, with a cost of € 60, and will have the following menu:
- New Year’s Eve appetizers
- Romanelli crepes
- Macaroni with forest scent
- Pork with vin santo and raisins
- Peposo
- Mashed potatoes and lentils
- Crumble of puff pastry with chantilly cream and chocolate flakes
- Including water, bottle of wine for 4 people, coffee, champagne flute
Entrance to the party costs € 20 with drinks included.
VICCHIO
The Municipality of Vicchio has decided to celebrate the New Year 2018 in Mugello at the Teatro Giotto with the show “La Vedova Allegra” at 9.15pm. At the end of the show a toast at the arrival of 2018.
CAPODANNO AL RIFUGIO
Have you ever thought about celebrating New Year 2018 in Mugello in a shelter? This year it is possible to do it at Rifugio I Diacci!
You will spend from 31 December 2017 at 16:00 until January 1 at 15:30 a wonderful holiday of tranquility, nature and fun.
Program:
- 4 pm meeting at the Piazzale della Sambuca and baggage transport with the Jeep
- 5:30 pm welcome snack
- 6.00 pm entertainment
- 8.00 pm dinner
- 11.00 pm entertainment
- 00:00 am Midnight toast
- 00:30 am candlelight vigil and bonfire night
- 9: 00-11: 00 am breakfast
- 11:00 am guided tour (optional)
- 1:00 pm lunch
- 4.00 pm transfer of luggage / people from the refuge to Piazzale della Sambuca
COST 150.00 euros / person with overnight stay in the refuge in rooms with 4-5 beds
COST 120.00 euros / person with overnight stay in the barn in dormitory with 12 beds

Children 4-8 years 30% discount
Children 9-12 years 15% discount
From the second child the cost is 80.00 euros
